Remember the joy you experienced at Scholastic Book Fairs? Now’s your chance to peruse the books on sale by several of Charlotte’s independent bookstores.

Novels and Nightcaps | Thursday, Feb. 27 | The Union at Station West | $25+ admission | Take flight in this book fair focusing on “Flights of Fancy,” or adventure-themed novels that transport readers to far-off destinations and hidden worlds.

Bonus: This event by Promising Pages is 21+ and will feature themed bites and cocktails, swag, and a silent auction to benefit the organization.

Charlotte Book Fair with Front Paige Media | Saturday, March 1 | 1-6 p.m. | Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, LoSo | Cost of purchase | Shop from 50+ local vendors, including indie bookstores, local authors + will collect a book drive to benefit Western NC.

2025 Queen City Book Fair | Saturday, May 17 | 12-4 p.m. | Venue 8470 | Cost of purchase | Explore a wide variety of books from different genres, meet local authors, plus enjoy live entertainment, and food.
