2024 Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show to take flight

Spectators can expect World War II-era planes in the annual display + tributes to the men and women of the US Armed Forces during Veterans Day weekend.

The 2024 Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show takes flight Veterans Day weekend at Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport on Saturday Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10.

Strap in for an action-packed air show honoring the men and women of the US Armed Forces when dozens of World War II-era planes and beyond take the sky.

Gates open at 9 a.m. with aerial entertainment starting around 12 p.m.

Pro tip: Bring folding chairs or blankets for a comfortable seat + your camera. Keep in mind, drones are not permitted.

The show will have 30+ vendors on site with food and drink options + military memorabilia for sale.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.

  • $15 for ages 12-18
  • $5 for current and former military service members
  • Children under 12 are free
  • $45 for each box seat
