The Queen City is about to go B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
The Savannah Bananas announced Banana Ball, the “most entertaining game of baseball,” is coming to Charlotte for the 2025 World Tour.
The game will be played Saturday, June 7 at Bank of America Stadium — one of only three football stadiums selected.
Fans can expect a fun night of baseball, choreographed dances, walk-up-song performances, and break dancing coaches
Editor’s note: Registration for the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery is underway. Registration closes Nov. 1.
“We’ve had tremendous support from all of North Carolina, but this is our first time in Charlotte so we know the Queen City is going to be rocking! We feel this is the perfect stadium as we expand into football stadiums, with every seat being on top of the action,” said Jesse Cole, owner of the Savannah Bananas.
BoA stadium — home of the Carolina Panthers — continues to be a major economic driver for the Queen City. Collectively, Panthers games, Charlotte FC matches, and concerts created more than $1 billion in annual economic impact for Charlotte.
- Carolina Panthers — $706.4 million
- Charlotte FC — $234.2 million
- Concerts and other events — $169.6 million
