Where would chefs from “The Bear” work in Charlotte?

We came up with where we think chefs from the popular TV show “The Bear” would work if they lived in the Queen City.

If you’re into popular shows, chances are you’ve seen “The Bear,” which recently debuted its fourth season. For those who don’t know, “The Bear” follows Chef Carmen, who takes over his brother’s Chicago dive restaurant and then decides to make it a Michelin star-winning spot.

We got to thinking… if chefs from the hit Hulu show lived in Charlotte, where would they work? Here’s what we came up with.

Chef Carmen (aka Carmy) | Counter-
Carmy’s fine-dining experience and ability to push the envelope immediately made us think of Counter-. He and Chef Sam Hart could collab on some fabulous dishes.

Chef Sydney | L’Ostrica
Chef Sydney is an innovator, and we think she would love the challenge of L’Ostrica’s constantly-changing tasting menu using seasonal ingredients.

Chef Marcus | Renaissance Pâtisserie
Hear us out. We know Chef Marcus can be a little gruff and hot-headed, but his dessert game is out of this world. We think he could bring some major talent to this French-inspired dessert spot.

Chef Bettina (aka Tina) | Supperland
Chef Tina starts off begrudging change, but eventually she realizes she loves to cook and wants to learn. We think she would enjoy working at Supperland — plus, owners Jeff Tonidandel and Jamie Brown have a passion for empowering their staff for a full career in the culinary industry.

Did we get it right, or are we totally off? Let us know.
