Construction is now moving full tilt on the upcoming NOVEL River District. It’s the first apartment complex slated to welcome tenants in 2025 at the highly-anticipated River District — a 1,400-acre master-plan community in west Charlotte.
Located astride the Catawba River, one of the many allures of the River District is the theme of luxury city life blended in harmony with the beauty of nature.
“People are open to this idea of bringing habitat back to their yards,” Alden Picard, conservation coordinator with the North Carolina Wildlife Federation, said. Picard noted untouched land forms a tenuous ring around where dozens of families will soon move in.
