All aboard! Tweetsie Railroad is kicking off the holiday season with its annual Tweetsie Christmas celebration, welcoming visitors to the High Country. On select evenings starting Friday, Nov. 30, families and train aficionados can take an open-air ride through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
“This year, Tweetsie Christmas is more meaningful than ever,” said Chris Robbins, President of Tweetsie Railroad. “It’s not just about the lights and decorations — it’s about bringing people together, lifting spirits, and creating a joyful experience for families to celebrate the season.”
The three-mile, 20-minute train voyage allows riders to see nearly one million lights while traveling through a “Wild West” holiday scene. There will also be live music, an outdoor fire, and a chance to take photos with Santa.
Advance tickets are required + are $60 for adults, $40 for children ages 3-12. Children under 3 are free.
