The clock is ticking before Quail Hollow Club will once again become the stage for the greatest professional golfers in the world for the 2025 PGA Championship, running May 12-18.

Potentially record-breaking crowds are expected to pack the fairways to see this year’s competitors including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffle, and 153 other opponents — all vying for the Wanamaker Trophy, clocking in at 27 pounds and 28 inches tall.

PGA Championship tickets are still on sale, ranging ~$262, but they’re selling fast. Saturday, May 11 is already sold out.

Since the PGA announced the Championship was returning to the Queen City back in 2020, Quail Hollow Club has undergone immense growth to enhance the experience for both players and guests.

Every PGA Championship ticket purchased includes non-alcoholic beverages + concessions, and alcohol will be available for purchase.

Here at CLTtoday, you may already know we’re big on celebrating local, especially our city’s small businesses. Which is why a week dedicated to highlighting the heart of our communities is right up our alley.

Enter: Small Business Week — a national initiative that acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of small businesses — that we’ll be celebrating from Sunday, May 4 to Saturday, May 10.

We want to join in on the celebrations by highlighting some of the best small businesses in our city, and offer a little something special for our readers, too.

This is where we need your help.

If you own a local small business or know someone who does, celebrate Small Business Week with us by filling out this form about your business. We’ll be selecting businesses to feature in our newsletter throughout the week.

Complete the form by Sunday, March 16 and we’ll include it in our interactive map and coverage for Small Business Week. Psst: There’s no charge to participate.
