A new beer hall is coming to South End. Distro Beer Hub is slated to open at 2412 Distribution St. in May. The 9,000-sqft location will bring four breweries under one roof, serving brews and craft cocktails, plus a food menu packed with burgers, sushi, and small plates. (Charlotte Business Journal)

A middle-class income to live in Charlotte ranges from $53,715 to $161,162, according to a recent study from personal finance website SmartAsset. Y’all ready for this? Get ready for an early dose of March Madness when the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Men’s Basketball Tournament returns to Spectrum Center — marking the 14th year the Queen City has hosted the tournament and the first time since 2019.

The ACC Tournament features North Carolina’s biggest and most prestigious men’s college basketball programs, making the ~two hour drive from Tobacco Road to the Queen City — including UNC, Duke, NC State, and Wake Forest.

Tournament schedule

  • First round — Tuesday, March 11
  • Second round — Wednesday, March 12
  • Quarterfinals — Thursday, March 13
  • Semifinals — Friday, March 14
  • Championship game — Saturday, March 15

Ticket information

Tickets are sold per session, granting fans entry to multiple games per day. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended, as the tournament is expected to attract major attendance from fans from out of town.
