Registration is open for this year’s 24 Hours of Booty. The non-competitive cycling and walking event rolls through the “Booty Loop” in Myers Park from 7 p.m. Friday, July 25 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26. The 24th annual event supports local and national cancer services and survivors.

Could the Queen City host the CIAA Tournament in 2028? Charlotte City Council got an update regarding the bid on Monday. A final decision is expected by June. The tournament was held in Charlotte for 15 years before its departure in 2020. (WCNC)

The Charlotte-based cookie boutique expanded its new headquarters + strictly operates online only, serving up weekly orders and specialty cookie boxes to coffee shops and markets across the Queen City.
“I think people get excited for the constant “newness” or the nostalgia,” Honeybear’s owner Hannah Neville explained to CLTtoday. “When I started, it was just fun. And now I think it’s a good way to get people to keep coming back.”

So how does it work? Shoppers and cookie monsters, aka loyalty members, can place an order until Thursday weekly, then pick it up on Friday or Saturday.
