Want a space to work and work out?Meet THE CLUB. The new fitness studio in South End is holding a grand opening Saturday, June 21, to debut its new two-story space on South Graham Street.
The indoor cycling studio soft-launched in February, offering strength training and indoor cycling, but the space is about to change, debuting its permanent studio with fitness classes and a co-working space.
On the first floor, there’s a 30-seat space and full-service coffee bar from Pertinacious Coffee Co., plus a rotating selection of pastries and snacks. The bottom floor features two ~1,000-sqft fitness rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, and a fully-stocked dry bar + will be open daily.
“Our hope is that it becomes a second home that’s inviting, where people can find community, grow, move together, and spend time from morning to night,” said owners Nicole Paradis and Meg Mars.

Development
A 434-unit multifamily development is coming to West Morehead Street near the future Silver Line light rail. Panorama Holdings will begin construction on the project just outside of Uptown soon. It’s expected to take two-and-a-half years. (Charlotte Business Journal)

Speaking of the heat, older adults who receive disability income can receive free box fans from Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation. Registration is required + a valid license or ID will be required during pickup. (WCNC)
