Put your phone away. Antagonist, South End’s no-phone coffee and cocktail bar, opens tomorrow, March 4 inside The Campbell. Don’t worry, your phone will be in a sealed bag that you can hold on to.

Registration is open for the US National Whitewater Center’s spring break camp. The week-long camp offers kids from ages 4 to 17 the chance to zipline, kayak, and more.

Major League Soccer announced MLS All-Stars will face Mexico’s top league, LIGA MX, during the 2026 MLS All-Star Game at Bank of America Stadium on Wednesday, July 29. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, March 24, at 10 a.m. (WCNC)

Charlotte-based investment firm Taylor Capital opened its $50 million sports medicine center along Golf Links Drive in South Charlotte. Carolina Sports Medicine Center now offers two full-sized basketball courts, rehabilitation services, and performance training. (Charlotte Business Journal)

City Barbecue opened its newest location at 5001 Old York Road in Rock Hill, SC. The menu features brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. Pro tip: Save room for banana pudding.
