Rent prices in the Queen City decreased in the last year, according to a recent Redfin study — thanks in part to a boom in apartment construction. The Uptown area alone added ~11,000 apartments over the last four years.

Compared to other large US cities, Charlotte also offers more space for your buck. A 2024 RentCafe study found $1,500/month can get you ~847 sqft of space.
