Interested in season tickets? The Hornets are hosting a virtual open house

With renovations taking place at the Spectrum Center, Charlotte Hornets representatives will help secure seating for the upcoming season.

2,500 additional seats will bring more fans to be closer to game-time action. All seats throughout the bowl will be replaced.

On Thursday, July 25, basketball fans will be able to secure season tickets for the upcoming Charlotte Hornets season. Due to renovations to the Spectrum Center, representatives will host a virtual open house for ticket buyers.

“We thought back to our COVID days and looking at seats really gives our fans the opportunity to still provide [them] for the upcoming season. So we provided this virtual option for our fans,” said Jacob Gallagher, Hornets’ Chief Revenue Officer.

Here’s how it works:
Aspiring ticket holders are required to register for the open house. Once a time slot is selected, they’ll be placed into a waiting room before speaking to a sales representative. Once they’re available, fans will be “walked through” the arena with renderings and 3D seat maps + ask about ticket packages/seats available.

“We want to make it as real as possible for our fans. So when they do come in and get to see the arena firsthand, they know what they’re getting and there’s no surprises and they can feel like it was a good process for them,” explained Gallagher.

New this year
Basketball fans also have the chance to get tickets in the Pick 23 Plan — including the first and last home games, along with 21 other games you get to choose.

“I think we have the pieces to really give our fans something to celebrate and be excited about! I’m ready to see them get on the floor and and start playing again,” exclaimed Gallagher.

How much will they cost?
The plans will vary by cost, depending where fans want to sit in the arena. Expect to pay anywhere from $65 to $2,500 a game.

Mark your calendar
The virtual open house is scheduled for Thursday, July 25. Time slots will be 9 a.m.-12 p.m., 12-3 p.m., and 3-6 p.m.

Pro tip: You can log in at any time during the time slot chosen to secure a seat.
