The first day of spring may be March 19, but spring appears to have sprung in the Queen City. We’ve driven around town to find those pink and white cherry blossoms in bloom. Looking to spot them for yourself? Here are a few Instagram-worthy locations around Charlotte:

  • Ballantyne Hotel, 10000 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy.
  • First Ward Park, 301 E. 7th St.
  • Monroe Road near Edge City Brewery, 6209 Old Post Rd.
  • Northlake Mall, 6801 Northlake Mall Dr.
  • Romare Bearden Park, 300 S. Church St.

While there’s no guarantee that the trees will still be pink and white when you venture to find them, the good news is cherry blossoms tend to bloom twice each year — once in spring, and again in fall.

Where’s your favorite spot to see the trees in bloom? Let us know.
