Construction is set to start on the second tower of the Queensbridge Collective development, the ever-growing tower along South Tryon Street just outside of Uptown. The $700 million mixed-use development will bridge Uptown and South End and become a major hub for living, working, and dining in the city’s urban core.

How would you like to have a bird’s eye view of South End from your living room?

The plans

The project broke ground in 2023, with the structural framework on the first tower wrapping in February. The 42-story tower, known as The Vivian, will feature luxury apartments, retail space, and a rooftop pool — and it’s set to be completed this year, becoming the second-tallest residential building in Charlotte.

The second tower will take things to another level. Standing 43 stories tall, the building will combine office space — including the future headquarters of Moore & Van Allen PLLC — with 346 luxury multifamily units. Expect sleek architecture, skyline views, and integrated retail when it’s completed in 2028.

The Wrap

Today’s edition by: Maria

Apple picking holds a special place in my heart. Carrigan Farms is where my wife and I took our engagement photos a couple of years back! Not only did we walk away with some amazing photos (thanks to my friend Latasha), but we had two big bags of apples that made for some pretty tasty pies, if I do say so myself.
