Market Meetups: a new way to meet friends in Charlotte

The new event offers a fresh way for women to make connections while shopping from local vendors from across the Queen City.

What better way to spend a day shopping than with friends?

Want to make new friends? Shop Local QC is making it easier to meet new people in the Queen City. The local biz, which curates vendor markets across the city, is launching a new initiative called Market Meetups.

Here’s how it works: Check in at the Shop Local QC table during one of their markets, grab a wristband, a complimentary tote bag + goodies, then wander the market, knowing everyone with a wristband is also there to mingle. Think of it as the ultimate friend date-meets-shopping trip.

Mark your calendars for two markets coming up:

Prepare to shop for clothing, jewelry, home goods, and even freshly baked treats.

Bonus: Shop QC Local just launched a new market series taking place on the second Saturday of the month in SouthPark.
