Charlotte SHOUT! reveals new exhibits for 2025

New displays celebrating art, music, food, and ideas in Uptown will be showcased for 17 days when Charlotte SHOUT! returns April 4-20.

Charlotte SHOUT! has been a reoccurring annual arts festival in Uptown since 2019.

You certainly won’t want to keep quiet when Charlotte SHOUT! returns to Uptown April 4-20. The annual festival highlights the Queen City’s unique artistic community with more than 200 events and attractions, giving visitors the opportunity to see, feel, think, and discuss.

What’s new this year?

  • CanStruction — A live competition where engineering and design groups craft sculptures using full cans of food. The food will later be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
  • Queen’s Greens — This reimagined space features nine fully-functional mini golf holes with obstacles designed by local artists.
  • Oracle — Have fun interacting with larger-than-life inflatable characters chatting with visitors using AI-powered voices.
  • EdgeFest — Watch local artists create stunning masterpieces using spraypaint.
  • Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 — Tour this vibrant, interactive installation by Esrawe + Cadena featuring glowing red-frame houses with swings.

What’s coming back

Many exhibits are returning that past visitors will probably recognize, including Eggs on Parade, Pianodrome, and E/motion.

Make sure to come hungry. Charlotte SHOUT! also features three festivals-within-the-festival, including Carolina BBQ Festival, The Charlotte Ideas Festival, and Charlotte StrEATs.
