There’s a wide range of events across the Queen City to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Grab your green and shamrocks. Uptown is going green for Charlotte’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 between MLK and Brooklyn Village Avenue on Tryon Street with the parade stepping off at 11 a.m. Revelers will find no shortage of food, drinks, craft vendors, floats, and live performances.

Fun fact: This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Rory Wall, whose credited for returning the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival to Charlotte after years of absence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Over the past four years, I have watched as the [St. Patrick’s Day] Committee did a fantastic job rebuilding the Parade and Festival from the ground up and growing it to be the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration between Savannah and New York,” said Wall.
