The weather is slowly turning, and the leaves won’t be far behind. From savory dishes to sweet treats, here’s your guide to indulging in the flavors of autumn, complete with a map so you can easily find your next fave anywhere in the city.

For something savory

Inizio Pizza Napoletana | What’s not to like? Pizza, good. Pumpkin cream, good. Buffalo mozzarella, good. Ricotta, good. Pecorino, good.

STIR | Start your evening with an appletini paired with char-broiled oysters — plus, a portion of sales will benefit the Isabella Santos Foundation.

JINYA Ramen Bar | Pair Japanese flavors and comfort food by savoring the creamy tori-paitan — a chicken broth ramen with mushroom tempura, seared corn rib, and thick noodles.

Flight | This Elizabeth restaurant and wine bar is ready to fill your belly with sweet potato hummus and flash-fried chickpeas.

For something sweet

Suárez Bakery | The September cupcake flavor is pumpkin spice — we’ll take the lot.

Bobby’s Burgers | After ordering the seasonal wild mushroom burger, consider finishing it off with a pumpkin spice milkshake.

Nothing Bundt Cakes | Fall in love with the pumpkin spice, caramel apple cider, and new Biscoff cookie butter cakes — they’ll be a hit at any gathering.

Flavored coffees

Tipsy Pickle | Order a pumpkin cold brew or caramel apple Italian soda before (or after) hitting the court.

Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor | Get your fall fix from the pumpkin spice latte, made with housemade pumpkin spice syrup, or the orange cardamom espresso.

Roots Cafe | Pumpkin spice or bananas foster latte — is it coffee or dessert? Why not both?

Haraz | For all the pumpkin spice fans, try the shaken espresso paired with a Dubai dream cake.

Coffee Republic | We “pecan’t even” with this fall menu featuring flavors like pumpkin, maple, cardamom, butter pecan, and cinnamon.

The Giddy Goat Coffee Rosters | The fall menu includes an apple chai and a s’mores cold brew, perfect for an unseasonably warm or cool day.

Rosie’s Coffee and Wine Garden | Nothing says fall quite like a gingersnap matcha or maple cookie latte while sitting in the garden.

Local brews and libations

Vaulted Oak Brewing | Quench your thirst with a false fall festbier lager or the jacked-o lantern, a PSL-style coffee blonde.

VINYL | Starting Monday, Sept. 29, order from the seasonal brunch menu or sip any of the fall-inspired cocktails like the “Pretty Fly for a Mai Tai” or cranberry-lime “Whatever.”

State of Confusion | Combine the sweet notes of brown butter, grapefruit juice, bitters, and bourbon when ordering the jack-o-lantern.

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery | It’s not fall without a sip of Mecktoberfest, OMB’s annual fall release.

NoDa Brewing Co. | The seasonal Gordgeous Pumpkin Ale boasts notes of pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and allspice.
