Drink Up Week is finally here and we have a feeling it’ll be the toast of the town.

Here’s the tea — today through Friday, July 26, we’re celebrating the entrepreneurs, mixologists, venues, and beverages that make Charlotte go ‘round.

As you know, we’ve created an interactive map of can’t-miss deals offered by local businesses in the Queen City. Here are the top deals our CLTtoday editors have their eyes on — and what they plan to pair with these drinks.

City Editor Maria is going for the Large-Marge-a-Rita at Moo & Brew. She’s dropping in on Wednesday to stay in the sporty spirit after working up an appetite during the first day of Panthers Training Camp. The giant margarita is topped with a cowabunga burger, pimento trio, grilled jalapeño, chicharrones, and more + served with a Coronita. She’s pairing her drink with the pretzel bites and brew cheese.

Pro tip: The drink is part of the limited-time Summer Series Menu so it won’t be available for long.

City Editor Jack can’t wait for Thursday — Sneak is offering half-off bar bites and bottles of wine. The cocktail bar in Elizabeth provides a relaxed speakeasy vibe to start the weekend off right.

Pro tip: You’ll get a kick out of finding a secret room — it truly is a sneakeasy.

We hope you enjoy sipping your way through our city this week. Cheers to you and happy Drink Up Week, Charlotteans.

On Thursday, July 25, basketball fans will be able to secure season tickets for the upcoming Charlotte Hornets season. Due to renovations to the Spectrum Center, representatives will host a virtual open house for ticket buyers.

Here’s how it works:
Aspiring ticket holders are required to register for the open house. Once a time slot is selected, they’ll be placed into a waiting room before speaking to a sales representative. Once they’re available, fans will be “walked through” the arena with renderings and 3D seat maps + ask about ticket packages/seats available.

How much will they cost?
The plans will vary by cost, depending where fans want to sit in the arena. Expect to pay anywhere from $65 to $2,500 a game.

Mark your calendar
The virtual open house is scheduled for Thursday, July 25. Time slots will be 9 a.m.-12 p.m., 12-3 p.m., and 3-6 p.m.
