If youâve visited Columbia, SC, (hey, COLAtoday), the concept comes straight from the brains behind Market on Main, which opened in late 2019.
Expanding into the Queen City
âGrowing up and living down the road in Columbia, we visited Charlotte frequently for shopping, sports events, and to fly out of the amazingly well-connected airport,â Josh Willoughby, Co-owner and CEO of Market on Main, told CLTtoday.
The market will be nestled at Carson Station along the Rail Trail, offering a laid-back atmosphere between South End and Uptown.
Diners will enjoy food using local ingredients and a menu that will change seasonally.
The one-stop shop along Morehead Square Drive promises to be a community hub for events and entertainment, serving âelevated Americana cuisineâ from locally-sourced ingredients and drinks.

Charlotte City Council approved a rezoning petition Monday night, clearing the way for major renovations to Bank of America Stadium.
