New Restaurant 🤝 living room
Get ready to bring your friends and family to The Craic, an Irish-themed restaurant in SouthPark. | Photo by CLTtoday
There’s new life coming to the former Rusty Bucket space in SouthPark. The Craic — pronounced like crack — will open at Ashley Park Lane on Wednesday, April 15, offering a new space to become “SouthPark’s living room.” Psst... It’s one of our most-anticipated restaurants opening in the Queen City.
“We want people to be able to come here and feel like they’re home,” Delano Little, co-owner and former WBTV anchor, told CLTtoday.
Get ready to savor Irish-inspired comfort foods, cocktails, and an inviting dining room and patio.

Named for the Gaelic word meaning good times and lively conversation, The Craic will serve comfort food like cheeseburgers, short rib pot roast, and fish chips + cocktails, 31 beer taps, eight wine dispensers, and desserts. The Irish-themed restaurant boasts 24 TVs and a billiards room, which can also be used for private events. Plus, the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.
Game plan: Show up, get inspired, and make an impact.

Ranked
North Carolina clocked in at No. 10 on a new WalletHub ranking of the best states for working from home. The report weighed factors like internet costs, home size, and cybersecurity, but we’d argue there’s one more metric that matters: coffee to fuel your day. Luckily, the Queen City delivers.

There’s still time to weigh in on the express lanes coming to I-77 South. How would you shape the project?
I didn’t know much about her breed, or how to best care for her. Thanks to Embark’s Breed + Health Dog DNA Test, that’s all changed. I’ve learned Meredith is a mix of American Pit Bull, Australian Cattle Dog, Dalmatian, and that she may be at higher risk for Intervertebral Disc Disease. Now I can take proactive steps to support her health — like keeping her on a balanced diet and opting for a harness over a collar to help reduce strain on her spine.
Try Embark for your dog, discover their unique DNA, and give them the best possible care.
