New pickleball complex coming to Lake Norman

Get your paddle ready. There’s a new pickleball complex coming to town.

The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen is expected to open an indoor/outdoor complex near Lake Norman. You can expect 16 indoor courts and six outdoor. The site will have a pro shop and a professional coach for camps and lessons.

The facility also has plans for a restaurant with seating for 100+ guests and four Topgolf-style swing suites.

The pickleball destination will be at 20220 Chartown Dr., and the opening is expected for 2025.
