All finishers get a medal and a shirt before celebrating in the post-race festival packed with a kids zone, beer garden, live music, and food trucks.

Meet world-class athletes

Get ready to meet and mingle with 20+ international athletes who will be running and competing for a $20,000 purse — $10k for both men and women.

Run for Relief

This year’s Meck Mile is also a “Run for Relief,” a fundraiser benefiting BeLoved Asheville and relief efforts supporting Western North Carolina communities recovering from Hurricane Helene.

“Run for Relief is poised to turn our community’s energy into the aid still needed for WNC’s ongoing hurricane recovery, with every donation, no matter the amount, helping our neighbors in the mountains,” said Will Pitts, CEO of the Charlotte Sports Foundation.
