Savor a “Taste of Charlotte”

The three-day event brings hundreds of vendors and mouth-watering dishes to the heart of Uptown, leaving you wanting more than a “Taste.”

The annual Taste of Charlotte festival brings thousands of people to Uptown to sample 100+ of Charlotte’s best restaurants.

Charlotte’s largest food festival is about to kick off in Uptown. For 25 years, Taste of Charlotte has been combining food, live entertainment, shopping, and fun for all ages.

The annual festival begins Friday, June 7 at 11 a.m. North Tryon Street will be lined with vendors and food-lovers alike through Sunday, June 9, when the event wraps at 6 p.m.

Through the weekend, expect to see (and smell) 100+ menu items from some of Charlotte’s hottest restaurants, including 800° Carolinas, State of Confusion, Stir, Renaissance Patisserie, and more.

Taste of Charlotte will also feature cooking demos at the Duke’s Mayo Demo Kitchen, offering quick and easy recipes to make at home.

While admission, entertainment, and smells are free, food samples and drinks can be purchased by using festival coins. $20 gets you 14 coins, and each food item will cost 2 to 4 coins.

For children, the festival will have interactive play areas including obstacle courses, slides, and bounce houses. Festival coins can be used + wristbands can be purchased on site.
