A south Charlotte steakhouse proved it’s a cut above the rest. Steak 48, located at 4425 Sharon Rd., seared its name as one of the most romantic date spots in the US.

OpenTable, the online restaurant-reservation service featured the steakhouse in its 2024 list of Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America. The poll analyzed 12 million diner reviews. Restaurant ratings and the percentage of reviews in which diners tagged businesses as “romantic” were among the key factors. The list provides a bellwether for anyone seeking a cozy dining atmosphere.

Ready for a fancy evening out? Steak 48 serves USDA prime steaks and high-quality seafood, classic cocktails, and an award-winning wine list in an intimate and vibrant setting. Just be sure to come dressed to impress.

Editor’s pick: While we haven’t booked our table yet, Charlotte City Editors Jack and Maria agree that the filet mignon with a nice glass of pinot noir sound perfect.
