Close your eyes and imagine teeing up at Pinehurst No. 2 or Pebble Beach. Now you can golf like the pros. Tap In, a golf “eatertainment” venue opening in Lower South End, brings a fresh take on the sport for both pros and first-timers when it opens on Thursday, Aug. 29.

“You’ll tell us what type of golf experience you want to have, like if you’re a novice golfer or an expert, and we’ll set you up with a course to play,” Tap In owner Miller Safrit told CLTtoday.

Cameras and computers in each bay can help golfers adjust their stance for a perfect swing.

The 10,000-sqft venue boasts a central putting green with a variety of games, eight golf bays with simulators to play world-famous PGA courses, and two bays with VR headsets for a completely different experience.

The best part? No equipment necessary. “We will have bags in every bay for men, women, and kids,” said Safrit.
What about the food and drinks?

Calling all Liams and Olivias — it’s your time to shine. This name ranked as North Carolina’s most popular for babies born last year, with names Noah, Oliver, and Charlotte rounding out the top five. The Buy

Self-care isn’t all spa days and forest bathing — although we do love a nice hot stone massage. More often than not, it’s the simple things like prioritizing rest, practicing good hygiene, and practicing mindfulness. Elevate your self-care rituals with these five products:

🫧 Treat your skin to a little TLC with a Moroccan exfoliating glove that gently removes dead skin + cleans pores.
💧Elevate your favorite reading or journaling space with an aroma diffuser and lavender essential oils.
🛏️ Look forward to snuggling into bed every night when you score this jersey knit sheet set at up to 75% off.
💤 Pair your new sheets with the Nodpod gentle weighted sleep mask that’s described as “a hug for your head.”
🧥 When you’re craving comfort + relaxation, don this ultra-soft Barefoot Dreams cardigan that’s over 50% off.

The Wrap

In case you missed the news, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged! I would not consider myself a “Swiftie,” but I enjoy many of her songs. Luckily for the happy couple, I also know some wedding venues across the Queen City... in the off chance they’re already looking for the perfect spot.
