Drinks and good company are back at Wooden Robot. The popular Charlotte brewery is reopening its doors a week after its co-founder, Dan Wade, died.
Wooden Robot’s official Instagram account shared they’ve been left speechless by the outpouring of support from the Charlotte community. “We’re forever grateful to our brewing community for lifting us up and lending a helping hand,” the post read.

Now, they’re asking Charlotteans to visit one of Wooden Robot’s locations in Wade’s memory.

If you’d like to grab a drink this week:

  • South End Brewery: open 4-10 p.m.
  • Coffee Bar: open 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Kitchen: open at 4 p.m.
  • The Chamber NoDa: opening Thursday at 3 p.m.

In addition to patronizing the establishment, Wade’s wife and newborn son will receive support from this GoFundMe.
