The Ivey, a brain health and memory wellness center in SouthPark, is launching a new program for people living with Parkinson’s Disease and the caregivers who support them.

Parkinson’s Power focuses on helping people move and think at the same time — a skill known as “dual tasking” that can become more challenging with Parkinson’s. Classes combine boxing-inspired movement, hand-eye coordination drills, and small-group games that encourage focus and social connection.

“This program is designed to be a place where you know your loved one is socializing with people who understand, and you can feel a little relief knowing they’re getting the individualized care they need,” Founder Lynn Ivey said.

Classes will meet two-to-three times per week and last about an hour — a waitlist is live, as the program is still in development.
