Finale Pizza | Opened Jan. 1 | 15025 Lancaster Hwy. | Savor New York-style pizza and fresh pasta with authentic Italian cheese and ingredients.

Rada | Opened Jan. 3 | 2820 Selwyn Ave., Ste. 180 | Guests at this Myers Park restaurant can savor tapas, wine, and shareable plates with European flare.

Qahwah House | Opened Jan. 3 | 1318 Pecan Ave., Ste. 101 | This coffee shop serves fresh pastries and coffee sourced directly from Yemen. Pro tip: Order a Sabaya with honey on top and your taste buds will thank you.

Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor | Opened Jan. 4 | 3024 N. Davidson St. | Reservations are recommended before sipping craft cocktails + snacks and desserts, like Clarified Malted Milk Punch, chex mix, and warm cookies.

Tacos 4 Life Dilworth | Opened Jan. 7 | 1716 Kenilworth Ave., Ste. 150 | Enjoy items like fried chicken, blackened mahi-mahi, or Hawaiian shrimp tacos + for every meal purchased, a meal is donated to a child in need. Feast your eyes.

The Comedy Club at Duckworth’s | Opened Jan. 9 | 330 N. Tryon St. | The club on Duckworth’s second floor seats 96 people and will serve drinks + a different food menu from the restaurant below.

El Veneno | Opened Jan. 12 | Monarch Market | Why wait for this food truck favorite when you can visit their food stall at Uptown’s dining hub?

Que Fresa Taqueria + Bar | Opened Jan. 14 | 530 S. College St. | The taco spot’s second location is located in Uptown + serves loaded taquitos, birria rolls, street tacos, bowls, and cocktails. Check out opening day.

SWTHZ | Opened Jan. 18 | 4810 Ashley Park Ln., Ste. D | This is the first Charlotte location for the contrast therapy and recovery studio.

The Wafflery | Reopened on Jan. 22 | After three months of unexpected closures, the breakfast hub serving large waffles, grits, and biscuits is welcoming diners with brunch hours.

Dogwood: A Southern Table | Opened Jan. 22 | 601 S. College St., Ste. 1829 | This highly-anticipated restaurant by Jon Dressler serves Southern classics like Duck & Dumplings, Baked Pimento Cheese, and a Tomahawk Pork Chop.
