New Uptown hotel aims to be sleek hangout spot

Charlotte’s Moxy Hotel boasts murals by local artists, skyline views, and attitude, encouraging locals and visitors to be adventurous in the Queen City.

Pack those bags for your next staycation. The Moxy Hotel is preparing to open this summer in Uptown, offering a unique chance for guests to become adventure-seekers and art lovers all in one stay.

City Editor Jack got a sneak peek at the interior that’s sure to make you say “wow.”

Nitty-gritty

Construction on the Millennial-focused hotel at the corner of Brevard and Fourth streets began in early 2023. Once open, it will feature a rooftop lounge on the 13th floor, 200+ rooms, and ground-floor retail. Plus, it will be within walking distance to the soon-to-be revamped Spectrum Center and Queen City Quarter.

Moxy guests will find numerous murals designed by local artists + a rooftop lounge, city views, and cozy suites.

The hotel is all about flair and providing a one-stop shop for entertainment and adventure starting at check-in.
