Time really does fly when you’re having fun. After a summer of excitement, it’s time for the kids to head back to the classroom.

Establish a primary care doctor

Stay ahead of the game and find a pediatrician to help keep your child healthy throughout the year. From the common cold to random rashes, your kiddo’s primary care physician will be your partner in health all year long.

Get up-to-date on immunizations and physicals

Check the list of required immunizations to make sure your kid has the necessary vaccines for the start of the school year.

Have young athletes in the house? Be sure to get an updated physical, too.

Check up on any injuries

Your schedule may look different during the school year, but that doesn’t mean you have to let your workout routine fall to the wayside.

Pro tip: All it takes is 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise (like a hike or nature walk in a local park) a day to help keep your heart healthy.
